Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, explosion, burns, property damage, serious injury or death.
Outdoor Use Only: Use only in a well-ventilated outdoor area. Never use indoors or in any enclosed or poorly ventilated space.
Regulator Pressure: Use only an LPG regulator with an outlet pressure of 30 mbar. Never use a high-pressure regulator, an unregulated gas supply, or any other outlet pressure.
Incorrect Pressure: If the product has ever been connected to a regulator above 30 mbar or to an unregulated gas supply, stop using it immediately. Using incorrect pressure can damage the product, create unsafe operating conditions and void warranty coverage.
Leak Testing: Check all gas connections for leaks before each use with soap-and-water solution or leak detector spray. Never check for leaks with a flame. Do not smoke while leak testing.
If a Leak Is Found: If bubbles appear or a leak is suspected, turn the gas supply OFF immediately. Do not ignite or use the product. Recheck the connections and test again. If the leak remains, stop using the product until corrected.
Fuel Source: Use only with LPG supplied from a cylinder, unless another fuel source is specifically permitted in the product manual.
Hose, Regulator and Cylinder Inspection: Before each use, inspect the hose, regulator and cylinder for damage, wear, cuts, abrasion, brittleness, leakage or any other defect. Do not use any damaged part.
No Repairs or Modifications: Do not alter, modify, bypass or attempt to repair any safety device, regulator, hose, burner, control or gas component.
Hose Safety: Keep the hose away from hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving parts, open flame and any area where it may be pinched, crushed or damaged.
Cylinder Safety: Keep the LPG cylinder upright with the valve at the top, at or above ground level only, and never in a pit, basement, sunken area or enclosed space. Keep the cylinder, regulator and hose visible and accessible during use, and maintain at least 1 metre between the product and cylinder unless the product manual requires a greater distance.
Ignition Safety: When igniting, stand clear of the front of the product and keep your face and hands as far away as possible.
Re-Ignition Interval: If the burner does not ignite, turn the control to OFF, shut off the gas supply, and wait at least 5 minutes before attempting to ignite again.
During and After Use: Never leave the product unattended while lit or hot. Do not move it while in use or while still hot. The exterior, internal surfaces, stone and surrounding areas become extremely hot during and after use. Allow the product to cool fully before moving, cleaning, covering or storing it.
Combustible Materials: Keep the area around the product clear of flammable liquids, vapours, paper, cloth, plastic and all other combustible materials. Do not use under overhead combustible surfaces.
Placement Surface: Use the product only on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Do not place it on plastic, tablecloths, or other flammable or unstable surfaces.
Ventilation Openings: Do not block or obstruct burner openings, air inlets or ventilation openings.
Wind and Weather: Do not use the product in conditions that may affect safe operation, including strong winds, heavy rain or any situation where the flame may be disturbed.
Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the product at all times during use and while cooling down.
Not a Heater: This product is a cooking appliance only. Never use it as a space heater.
When Not in Use / Storage: Turn the product OFF and shut off the LPG supply when not in use. Before disconnecting the regulator, ensure the product is OFF and fully cooled. Do not store the product indoors unless it is disconnected from the gas cylinder. Do not store an LPG cylinder in a building or other enclosed area.
If You Smell Gas
